Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Misconfigs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Your use of any page or feature on the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Today's Horoscope provides free, browser-based multi-tradition horoscope and astrology-style readings, including Western, Vedic, Chinese, Mayan, Celtic, and Akan perspectives, with consensus, divergence, and related exploratory content. The Service is offered at no charge and does not require registration.

Readings may run entirely in your browser. Behavior, availability, formulas, ephemeris approximations, and supported traditions may change without notice.

The Service is intended for entertainment only and does not guarantee correct, complete, predictive, or culturally authoritative outcomes.

No professional relationship. Your use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, advisory, agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, doctor-patient, attorney-client, clergy-congregant, therapist-client, or other professional relationship between you and Misconfigs LLC. We owe you no duty of care beyond what these Terms expressly require.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, workplace policies, and third-party agreements.

You may not use the Service if prohibited by applicable export control or sanctions laws. You represent that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or acting on behalf of any sanctioned jurisdiction or restricted party listed under applicable U.S. or international sanctions programs.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law
• Process data you do not have the right to handle, including personal data of others without authorization
• Abuse the platform, including excessive automated requests, scraping that harms availability, quota evasion, or harassment of our staff
• Attempt to probe, scan, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service as a commercial product without our written permission
• Present readings from the Service as professional astrological, medical, financial, legal, or spiritual advice to others
• Use the Service in a manner that violates applicable law or third-party rights

You represent that you have authority to submit materials you enter and that doing so does not breach any confidentiality, employment, or contractual obligation.

We may restrict or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

Birth date, time, place, and other material you enter ("User Content") remain yours. By design, the Service stores birth profile data in your browser's local storage on your device. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, store, process, analyze, and display User Content solely as needed to operate, secure, improve, and develop the Service, including processing in your browser to generate readings, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not guarantee that User Content is private, confidential, or free from collection by your device, browser extensions, hosting providers, or network. Do not enter information you are not comfortable keeping on the device you are using.

We may refuse to process, block, or discard User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or poses a security or operational risk.

No duty to maintain backups. We do not undertake any obligation to retain, archive, or maintain backups of User Content or reading output. Clearing browser data will erase locally stored profiles. You are responsible for maintaining copies of any information you wish to preserve.

The Service may rely on third-party providers, including, without limitation, Cloudflare (hosting and related infrastructure), analytics providers (if you consent), font or content delivery networks, and other vendors we authorize. Your use of those services may be subject to the third party's own terms and policies.

Advertising

Today's Horoscope is free to use and may be supported by advertising. We may display ads through third-party advertising networks or partners we authorize from time to time. Ads may appear on reading pages and other areas of the site.

Advertisements are provided by third parties. We do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for advertised products, services, offers, or the content on advertiser landing pages. Clicking an ad may take you to a third-party website governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy.

Ad placement, format, frequency, and the advertisers shown may change at any time without notice. Readings and editorial content on Today's Horoscope are independent of advertising and are not influenced by whether or how ads are displayed.

Third-party advertisers and ad partners may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, including interest-based advertising, as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We are not responsible for the availability, performance, actions, ad content, billing practices, or failures of third-party services, including outages, analytics gaps, changes to third-party APIs, or disputes with advertisers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim arising from a third-party service or advertisement is solely between you and that provider.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Misconfigs LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or related to: (a) your User Content; (b) your access to or use of the Service; (c) your reliance on readings, charts, or explanatory content; (d) your violation of these Terms; (e) your violation of applicable law; or (f) your violation of any third-party rights.

We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense. You may not settle any claim that imposes obligations on Misconfigs LLC without our prior written consent.

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, trademarks, service marks, branding, documentation, and site design. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms, but you may not copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute the Service or its code as your own product without permission.

You retain ownership of User Content you submit. You grant us the limited license described in Section 5 and our Privacy Policy to process that content solely to provide the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, immediately for violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, legal requirement, or to protect the Service, our users, or third parties.

Survival. Sections relating to disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, obligations under our Privacy Policy, and dispute resolution survive termination or expiration of these Terms, along with any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

We may add, modify, or remove readings, traditions, features, limits, or integrations at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to post material adverse changes on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms when caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, power or internet or telecommunications failures, government actions, embargoes, or failures or outages of third-party hosting, cloud, analytics, or network providers.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us at [email protected] with sufficient detail to identify the material, the rights you claim, and your contact information. We may remove or disable access to material we reasonably believe infringes third-party rights.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Misconfigs LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject.

Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) must proceed in court and not in arbitration, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.

Electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by posting on the Service. You agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.

Feedback. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant Misconfigs LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate them without restriction or compensation to you.

No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms are for the benefit of you and Misconfigs LLC only.
